Urine Drainage Bag
A Urine Bag is connected to a foley catheter or male external catheter to channel urine when a patient is recovering from surgery or has urinary incontinence due to physical limitations or a spinal cord injury. There are a variety of urinary drainage bag design options to support patient needs during catheterization, for both ambulatory and nonambulatory patients. Urine drain bags for bedside collection are hung on the bed frame or transferred to a wheelchair. Other urine collection bags have straps to wear on the waist or leg which allows the patient to walk and move freely.
