Aqua Creek Mighty Lift

The lift arm and base consist of solid stainless steel with a powder coating finish that protects against rust and corrosion. The base works with both new in-ground anchors or any existing standard Scout 2 or Revolution anchors for easy installation and removal and can be set back 24 to 44 inches from the edge of the pool.

The chair and footrest are built from durable plastic with a stainless steel footrest connector and flip-up armrests. The seat height is adjustable in 2-inch increments up to 4 inches. The leg/footrest assembly pulls out to accommodate transfers from wheelchairs.

A water-resistant remote controls the direct drive rotation. The seat can be lowered up to 18 inches into the water to facilitate chair-to-pool and pool-to-chair motion.

The Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law on July 26, 1990. This law mandates equal access to all Americans without regard to ability or disability.

Are portable pool lifts ADA compliant?

Yes - as long as they meet certain standards such as:

• Must be Able to Lift at Least 300 Pounds
• A Footrest Must be Included Unless the Lift is for Use with a Spa Pool
• Seat Must be Able to Submerge into the Water to 18 Inches Below the Water Level
• Must Have a Solid Seat That is at Least 16 Inches Wide
• The Operator Must be able to Use the Lift Without Tight Grasps, Pinching, or Twisting
• Must Require 5 Pounds or Less to Operate
• The User Must be Able to Operate the Lift Without Help from Anyone Else in Both the Water and on the Deck

How do portable pool lifts work?

A portable pool is held in place by an in-ground anchor. The operator controls the lift with a remote, allowing for movement at pool side into the water and back again.

What is a swimming pool lift?

This type of lift also known as a pool lift chair. It helps people with limited mobility to enter and exit the pool without assistance.

How do I install a pool lift?

When you purchase a lift chair, the company sends out service technicians to drill an anchor hole and insert a solid medal shaft (the in-ground anchor).

Do all pools need to have ADA compliant lifts?

No. The law states that access may be granted by a lift or by a gradual slope that allows access to those with a disability. In addition, private pools are exempted and entities operating more than one pool need grant disability access to one pool.

How do I clean my pool lift?

• Use Fresh Water Only. Do Not Use Pool Water.
• Do Not Use Abrasive Cloths on Your Lift. Make Sure Your Cloth is Clean and Soft.
• Make Sure to Keep any Water Spray away from the Control Box or Battery of Your Lift.
• For Stubborn Stains Use a Mild Dish Soap and Rub the Area Briskly with a Light Scouring Pad. Touch up the Finish with a White Epoxy Paint and Allow to Dry. Apply Wax to Protect the Finish.

How often do I need to charge my battery?

Plug your battery into the recharging station when not in use.
