How Does the TENS Pen Work?

TENS therapy is applied to nerve trigger points to treat chronic and acute pain using electrical nerve stimulation. The logic is that the electrical impulses modify the perception of pain and may increase endorphins, the body's natural painkiller to give a pain relief affect.¹ Each session takes only 30 seconds by placing the pen's tip directly onto the skin or over light clothing.
