Sigvaris 840 Soft Opaque Women's Compression Socks deliver effective, comfortable compression therapy with the added bonus of fashion versatility.

They are made from an ultra-soft microfiber material blend of 65 percent nylon and 35 percent spandex and do not contain any chemical additives. The opaque look of these compression hoses allows them to be worn as either tights or leggings. The fabric opacity offers additional discreetness by concealing visible symptoms of low circulation.

Soft Opaque Compression Socks and Stockings are easy to don and remove because of their smooth, two-way stretch fabric. The fabric includes double-covered yarns and reinforced heals that increase garment durability and help to ensure a correct fit. Their moisture management system allows legs to breathe and helps them stay dry throughout the day.

These Sigvaris 840 Support Socks are available in 15-20mmHg, 20-30mmHg and 30-40mmHg compression ranges. 15-20mmHg of compression is best suited to treat more mild symptoms of low circulation, such as tired, achy legs and edema related to work or travel. Doctors recommend 20-30mmHg compression levels for mild varicosities, prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and recovery from small vein procedures.

30-40mmHg stockings are ideal to treat more moderate circulation symptoms. They effectively treat moderate edema, superficial phlebitis and mild lymphedema. All compression levels in the Sigvaris Soft Opaque series are suitable to treat circulation symptoms that can occur during pregnancy. Some styles are available specifically for use during pregnancy. Always follow your doctor's compression level recommendation when ordering compression hose.

Sigvaris offers calf length, thigh high and pantyhose styles. Several color options in their Soft Opaque series make it easy to find the perfect pair for you.
