Debriders are a fundamental element of effective wound care prep. By carefully observing your wound, you can successfully perform wound debridement, which is merely the removal of foreign objects from a wound. Wound cleansing is an essential component of wound care prep, too. You can use alcohol pads to disinfect an area before applying an antiseptic to your wound.
Once you have properly cared for your wound, you may use a medical adhesive to help secure a new bandage. Whenever you are ready for your next cleansing and debridement of your wound, simply use an adhesive remover to assist with the removal of your bandage.
