ChairPro UnderSeat Patient Alarm System - 909369

The ChairPro Safety Alarm System is an under-seat sensor that eliminates the need to be attached to clothing or the use of sensor strips. It is placed under the seat of the wheelchair and features a sensor that is mounted on the backrest. Because it is located under the seat, it is protected against incontinence and daily wear. It is ideal for patients who are fall risks and activates immediately when the individual rises from the seat and automatically resets when they sit back down. The mounting of the sensor is secure, so it stays in place and reduces the occurrence of false alarms. It comes with an E-Z release buckle, which allows caregivers and medical professionals to quickly remove the sensor to wash the chair.

The alarm is powered by a 9-volt battery and comes with an LED light that will consistently flash when the individual is seated properly. The alarm has a high/low option that allows the caregiver to adjust the volume. This model does not include an On/Off switch. If the alarm is activated, and the individual is not returned to the seat, it can be silenced by pressing the "Auto-Reset" button. Always check the battery before each use and if the LED light is not flashing, it's time to replace the battery.
