The Cutimed® Sorbion® Sachet XL highly absorbent wound dressing offers more surface area at 18 x 10 inches to cover larger difficult regions of the body. Tricky wound sites include the lower leg to treat venous leg ulcers, lymphedema and burns regions and also the sacrum where pressure ulcers are common. The dressing is also helpful for healing burns, skin graft sites and any difficult-to-dress trauma site with an exuding wound.

Sorbion Sachet XL absorbs moderate to high amounts of discharge to remove harmful bacteria, prevent maceration and maintain a moist wound environment for optimal healing. BSN Medical designed its Sorbion Sachet line of products to absorb large amounts of exudate without compromising the integrity of the dressing using its proprietary hydration response technology. The dressing is effective at removing exudate and removing bacteria to decrease risk of infection which permits for a longer wear time of up to four days.
