Overview

The eWheels EW-66 is an attractively styled two-passenger electric scooter made to get individuals with mobility issues where they want to go quickly and easily. Travel up to 35 miles per charge at speeds up to 15 miles per hour. With the additional passenger seat, the scooter operator and a passenger can travel comfortably together. The EW-66 offers plenty of useful amenities, including padded seats and armrests, a large lockable storage section, glove compartment, rear cargo basket, LED headlights, taillights, turn signals, and forward/reverse switch. The EW-66 also features a key ignition with alarm and an anti-theft system. All that, plus a powerful weight capacity of 600 pounds! If additional storage space is desired, consider the Drive Power Chair Armrest Bag.

Driving the eWheels EW-66 mobility scooter is fun and easy with the variable speed twist throttle and front and rear handbrakes. A high-/low-speed switch sets the maximum speed at 1 mile per hour for safer travel in crowds or low-speed areas. Front fork shocks and rear shock absorbers create a soft ride. The forward/reverse switch allows the rider to shift from forward to reverse with the flip of a switch. Rearview mirrors are standard. Heavy-duty tubeless tires resist flats and provide a smooth ride.

The eWheels EW-66 comes fully assembled and ready to ride. When the time comes to charge the scooter, the eWheels EW-66 simply plugs right into any standard outlet so it will be ready to go for next time. The convenient battery indicator shows the current battery charge status right by the easy-to-read speedometer.

Proper Care of the eWheels Battery

With a proper care and charging routine, expect to get as many as 1,200 charge/discharge cycles from the battery. To get the most use out of the battery, the manufacturer recommends fully charging within 24 hours of each use. Additionally, expect to get more uses from the battery if you do not allow the battery to fully deplete. 'Shallow' charging/discharging cycles are ideal, which means the battery should be fully charged again when it gets down to about thirty percent. Charging the battery before it has fully discharged can greatly extend the battery's life.

The EZ-ACCESS Transitions Modular Entry Ramp can grant the EW-66 Mobility Scooter access to areas otherwise inaccessible due to curbs or steps.

Other 3 Wheel Scooter products that Vitality Medical carries include the Ventura 3 Wheel Scooter and the EW-36 Scooter.
