BSN Medical's Sorbion Sachet S 8 x 8 Dressing 7323215 is a fiber-material wound dressing that's able to be used as a primary dressing for exuding wounds. A tight seal around the large-sized cover serves multiple purposes by lifting, pulling away and storing exudate and debris from the area in order to promote faster healing times. A gel-like environment that's created inside the coverage area will create a moisture barrier for better wound control.

The Sachet S works on both moderate and high exudating wounds. It also works for both acute and chronic wound types, pressure ulcers and several other types that require thick coverage. The gel-like moisture barrier has better absorption and retention of exudate means there's a lesser chance of necrotic tissue formations. Less necrotic tissue means a reduced risk of cross-contamination.

The tight seal will help reduce odor, maintain a healthy wound area and decrease the risk of skin irritation and infection. The dressing is able to cover up to 64 square inches of space, reducing the need for multiple bandages.
