Hartmann 56900000 Sterilux 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponge 8 Ply is a thick, high exudate lifting gauze sponge made with 100 percent cotton that's woven for wound control. Each piece is wrapped with a peel-back pouch for sterility and better access to the dressing. A high yarn count combined with 8 ply thickness offers better exudate lift. For added flexibility, users can combine these with wrappings for added security.

Each sponge is available in 8-ply, square shaped and can be used with other wrappings for added security. The sponges can be used as a wound dressing, for debriding of wounds, packing wounds, covering, swabbing and other general care. Each cover offers 16 square inches of coverage in order to handle small-to-mid sized wounds.
