Adtemp Temple Touch Thermometer Overview

The Adtemp Temple Touch Thermometer by American Diagnostic Corporation obtains fast and accurate temperature readings by gently placing the sensor probe at the temple. Common Uses

This temporal thermometer is easy to use, making it a great tool to have at home to quickly get results. It's also an invaluable hospital supply to have in a high-traffic clinical setting. Since the onset of COVID-19, daily temperature screenings are commonplace at businesses and hospitals as a preventative measure. This method is used as a cost-effective approach. By the nature of its design, it is sanitary and cost efficient no costly probe covers, no waste. It's easy to administer and read without any additional materials or hassle.

How Adtemp Technology Works

Adtemp 427 Temple Touch Thermometer uses patented conductive technology that measures the heat flow from the temporal artery. For this reason, it is critical to properly place the probe in the temporal region and not the forehead. It only requires a gentle touch held firmly in place to ensure good contact with the skin until the temperature reading is displayed within 6-8 seconds.

This thermometer has a large display readout and can switch between both Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales. It requires two AAA batteries (included) and will last at least 1000 cycles over 24 months. To save battery life, it will automatically power off when it's not in use after a minute. This model comes packaged to be hung for display.
