Night splints can also treat several other issues in the feet and lower leg, such as sprains, rheumatoid arthritis, drop foot, or Achilles Tendonitis. Ideal after an injury, a night splint promotes healing and does it during sleep. There are also night splints for the hand and wrist area that are ideal for treating carpal tunnel.

By stretching stiff or under/overused tendons, pain, and inflammation is decreased. Taking away the bulk of a splint during the day, night splints hold your wrist and/or feet securely in a comfortable position as you sleep. This provides consistent and constant stretch, maintaining the function length of the tendon and reducing the stress on the tendons as you go about your day.
