Night Splints

Night Splints are similar to a boot to wear during the night to treat mostly Plantar Fascitis, which is simply inflammation of tissue connecting heel bones to toes. This is fairly common and easy to treat with night splints. Night splints can also treat several other issues in the feet and lower leg, such as sprains, rheumatoid arthritis, drop foot or Achilles Tendonitis. Ideal after an injury, a night splint promotes healing and does it during sleep. There are also night splints for the hand and wrist area that are ideal for treating carpal tunnel.

By stretching stiff or under/over-used tendons, pain and inflammation is decreased. Taking away the bulk of a splint during the day, night splints hold your wrist and/or feet securely in a comfortable position as you sleep. This provides consistent and constant stretch, maintaining the function length of the tendon and reducing the stress on the tendons as you go about your day.
