People...believe me when I tell you, that this Neb is by far the best on the market right now. I'm a Certified and Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT, RRT). I've tested Aerogen's hospital quality nebulizers (Solo and Pro with both Pro and Pro-X controllers). They are outstanding as far is getting much need relief for your Asthma or COPD. Treatment times are very fast, but the thing that separates this nebulizer from the others is the "vibrating mesh technology" used for the droplet size. I'm not trying to act as if I have a lot of knowledge or promote their product. I'm trying to help those of you who struggle on a daily basis as I do with your breathing. The medicine from this nebulizer will not only hit your central airway, but go down into the deepest part of your lungs. This is due to the fine particle or droplet/ low velocity aerosol this neb produces. I've been both the patient (Asthma and COPD) and ER Therapist at many different hospitals. This treatment you will receive from this neb is better than what you would get in most emergency rooms. When I was a younger therapist, I thought that having more flow to deliver the medication faster was best. Now, and testing and trying different drug combinations and using a lot of different nebs and nebulizers and other equipment, I've found that the droplet size and deep lung treatments is where you'll see the most relief. The other Aerogen nebulizer systems I mentioned above are hospital grade and I've tried to get my hands on one for personal use and it's a challenge. Not to mention they're over a thousand dollars. I still have not received the product. It will be two months by the time I get it although my credit card was charged within days of placing the order. I have received two emails telling me the product is on back order, each one for an additional two weeks. Maybe I should have bought it from someone else who had one in stock, maybe I will. I doubt that I will buy from Vitality Medical again.
