The device has a lightweight nebulizer design weighing less than 1 pound making traveling with the compressor nebulizer very easy. PARI TREK S Portable Nebulizer Compressor includes both AC and 12V DC adapters. Pari Trek S Portable Compressor Nebulizer 12 volt automobile adapter works with cars or boats. The Deluxe Pack model comes with a rechargeable battery which permits patients the freedom to take aerosol treatments away from home. A handy carrying case provides the freedom to take aerosol treatments anywhere, anytime. Equipped with the PARI LC Sprint reusable nebulizer, the Pari Trek S Nebulizer delivers powerful performance and shorter treatment times. Getting Started with Your Portable Compressor Nebulizer
- Make sure the Trek S Portable Aerosol System is turned โoffโ
- Plug the device into a wall outlet, vehicle outlet or ensure rechargeable battery is fully charged
- Make sure device has been cleaned, disinfected and reassembled properly
- Place compressor on a flat surface free of cushion, carpet or other fabric
- Connect tubing snugly into the compressor
- Open lid to add medication as prescribed- 8 mL max
- Connect the mask or mouthpiece according to preference
- Connect loose end of the tubing to bottom of the nebulizer
Aerosol System Operation Instructions
- Make sure the user is in a comfortable sitting position and turn on the device
- Place the nebulizer in the mouth, over the tongue with lips firmly closed around it
- If using a mask, place securely over the nose and mouth
- Inhale and exhale slowly
- Continue slow, deep breaths until medication is gone or you hear a โsputteringโ sound signifying the medication is no longer entering the tube
Cleaning and Disinfection Guidelines:
Cleaning:
- Disconnect tubing and hang with open ends down to dry
- Disassemble nebulizer mouthpiece as shown
- Wash all pieces except for tubing in warm water with dish soap
- Rinse with warm water
- Lay out to air dry, or hand dry with a clean cloth with no lint
- Reassemble parts once dry and put away
- Parts can also be washed on the top rack of a dishwasher
Disinfection:
- After cleaning as described above, soak in 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts hot water for 1 hour
- Rinse with warm water
- Another option is to boil in clean water for 5 minutes
- Allow parts to air dry on a lint free, clean cloth
Needed Maintenance:
- Replace nebulizer every 6 months
- Filter needs to be changed when grey or every 6 months

Shipped fast, in original packaging. This is my 3rd Trek from this company. I travel a lot, so they get used a lot and therefore, get slower more quickly. Will purchase another one when this one started to die.
