Omron BP7350 Series 7 Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is a wireless device that integrates with a smartphone. It offers a dual-display LCD monitor that presents the current reading alongside the last measurement for a side-by-side comparison. The screen provides large numbers that are easy to read. Storing up to 120 readings, the Omron 7 Series BP7350 is a diagnostic tool to track hypertension and help identify problematic heart conditions.

Blood pressure is an intensely studied topic. New Bluetooth technology offers wireless monitoring of blood pressure parameters on smartphones. Systolic and diastolic values along with pulse rate are measurable with downloaded Omron apps.¹ One study concluded that the Omron devices are accurate for in-home or self-monitoring.² Another study found that these devices encouraged self-monitoring and self-management, promoting better health behaviors associated with weight and blood pressure.³ Another study found that the recording of BP in conventional handwritten logbooks and smartphone apps resulted in no statistically significant difference. Omron Model BP7350, designated as the HEM-7340T-Z by the manufacturer, measures numerous data points to provide precise and consistent blood pressure readings. Breathing and movement have a negligible effect on measurements compared to competitor models. This advanced technology provides for fewer errors and more consistent diagnostics.

Connectivity

Omron 7 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor works wirelessly through Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone. It works with iOS or Android systems and is Amazon Alexa-enabled. The Omron Connect app works with iOS and Android phones, while the Omron Health skill works for Amazon Alexa. Omron is the first brand of blood pressure monitors to integrate with the cloud-based voice service from Amazon. Users can request a personalized blood pressure report, get daily heart health tips, set monitoring reminders, and compare readings across different dates and times of the day, all by voice. A new HeartAdvisor app works with the Omron Health skill and with HeartGuide, a wearable blood pressure monitor for even more personalized service.

Heart Alert

While measuring blood pressure, the Omron 7 Blood Pressure Monitor alerts the user to the number of irregular heartbeats (up to three). This added feature can help detect dangerous underlying heart conditions that may otherwise go undetected.

Two-User Mode

The Model BP7350 offers a two-user mode. This mode function means that this BP monitor can accommodate two users and track BP readings over time. It stores 120 readings or 60 readings per user to track heart conditions over time. Users can determine if specific periods offer a higher risk than others. Identifying higher risk factors allows the user to make adjustments to their lifestyle to minimize risks.

Comfortable Cuff

The Omron Blood Pressure Monitor BP7350 comes with an easy-wrap ComFit Cuff. The cuff is pre-formed for easier application and fits arms of 9 to 17 inches in circumference. It features total arm circumference inflation for 360 degrees for more accurate readings.

Product Operating Procedures

 

Battery Installation

1. Push down on the hook of the battery cover. Then pull the cover downward.
2. Insert four AA batteries in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery cover.
4. The year should flash on display.

AC Adapter Use Instructions for Optional AC Power

1. Ensure that the monitor is near an AC outlet.
2. Keep charged batteries within the monitor at all times, even while using AC power.
3. Insert the AC adapter plug into the AC adapter jack of the monitor.
4. Plug the AC adapter into an standard electrical outlet.

Date and Time Settings

1. Set the date and time before taking any measurements.
2. Date and time will automatically set when the monitor pairs with the "Omron Connect" app.

Arm Cuff Application

1. Plug the arm cuff into the monitor by inserting the air plug into the air jack securely until it clicks.
2. Apply the arm cuff to the left upper arm.
3. Ensure that the air tube is on the inside of the arm and wrap the cuff securely to prevent it from moving around.

Correct Posture

1. Take measurements while relaxed and comfortable.
2. Sit in a comfortable chair that provides back and arm support.
3. Keep feet flat on the floor and legs uncrossed.
4. Place left arm on the table.
5. Place the arm cuff on the left arm at the same level as the heart, with the arm resting comfortably on a table.
