Product Highlight: The Liftwalker by Drive Medical
You are in need of a walker or rollator but what you may not realize, is 70% of those who use a walker will need lifting assistance in order to use their walker.
This [hurts back] is what happens when your loved one tries to help you stand up. This [falls over] is what happens when you try to use the walker to help yourself stand up.
Hi my name is Craig Weaver, I’m the inventor of a new walker called the Liftwalker. I invented the Liftwalker because two of my friends hurt themselves helping their spouses stand up in order to use their walker. And because tens of thousands of people every year hurt themselves helping someone stand up.
Awkwardly lifting someone is dangerous and needs to be avoided. You may not need lifting help right at this moment, but the probability that you will is very high.
The Liftwalker is a standard walker that also functions as a two-handed grab bar, stand-assist aid and a leveraging device.
The caregiver locks the wheels and pulls up the two bars. The person needing help grabs and hold the bars wherever it is comfortable.
You are able to safely get yourself up because you’re using your biceps, your chest muscle and your stomach muscle and your leg muscles – all simultaneously – giving you three times the strength.
However if you need additional help, the caregiver can pull back gently, leveraging you to a standing position. Remember 70% of those who use a walker will immediately or eventually need lifting help – do not put you or your loved ones at risk.
Please get a Liftwalker the first time you need a walker because at any time, you may need lifting help. Order today.
