Note: The Flowtron Hydroven 1 Garments work as an Intermittent Compression System. They replace the old Flowtron system.
Huntleigh Flowtron Hydroven 1 Garments are single-chamber garments that provide uniform compression to the affected limb. The garments are connected to the Flowtron Hydroven 3 Lymphedema Pump, which is a new Intermittent & Sequential combination pump from Huntleigh Healthcare. This pump will work with this single-chamber garment as well as the 3-chamber gradient sequential garments. The doctor will recommend the single-chamber garment when the patient is treated for edema and requires uniform pressure versus segmental or sequential pressure using a multi-chamber garment.
Both garment options use the same pump. Having one pump that connects to both styles of garments helps minimize the number of sleeves needed. Additional inserts can be purchased to accommodate larger limbs. This reduces the number of sleeves to have on hand. The inserts expand the sleeves to add circumferential compression of larger limbs. The insert also provides uniform pressure across the width and length.

Measurement Instructions
When measuring for Arm Garments, measure from the armpit to the wrist. The circumference measurement for an arm garment should be made at the widest part of the arm, either the shoulder or the bicep. All measurements are in inches.
When measuring for Leg Garments, you should measure from the gluteal fold, the crease where buttocks meet thighs, to the ankle. The circumference measurement for an arm garment should be made at the widest part of the leg, Typically the thigh. All measurements are in inches.
Note: When selecting sleeve length, the total sleeve length should never encroach within 1½ inches of your groin or underarm or circulation can be impeded.
