The Mangar Archimedes Battery Charger Accessory (Mangar LA4826) is a lightweight charger that is compatible with the Archimedes Bath Lift. It is available as a replacement in the event that the original charger is damaged or stops working.

When using your charger, disconnect it from your Mangar Archimedes Hand Control and plug it into an outlet away from areas that may be wet or damp. For example, do not charge your device in the bathroom or kitchen, do charge it in the bedroom or common living area, and always keep it out of reach from children and pets. Electric devices and water should never come in contact with one another. Also, keep your battery charger away from flammable anesthetic mixtures, oxygen tanks, or nitrous oxide. The recommended charging time is overnight, which will allow your bath lift to be fully charged and ready for daily use. This hand control accessory can be charged for extended periods of time without causing damage to the device.

How to Charge Your Battery

When charging your battery use the following steps:

• Disconnect the hand control from the battery actuator
• Connect the hand control to the battery charger
• Plug the battery charger into a power supply in a location outside of the bathroom
• Turn the charger on, the green light indicates that the charger is properly connected
• Let it charge for at least an hour, but ideally overnight is common practice
• Once fully charged, disconnect from the battery charger and reconnect to the lift device
