Drive Medical's Deluxe Bariatric Drop-Arm Commode is a step in the right direction for bariatric patients. The commode features an easy to release arm mechanism to allow for safe lateral patient transfers to and from the commode. Or, they can just be dropped to allow for a more comfortable seating area for larger patients. The commode is designed from heavy duty, white powder coated steel tubing that can be easily cleaned and maintained. Resting upon this durable frame is a "snap-on" seat that is as large as the bench is wide and supports up to 650 lbs. For added comfort, padded armrests and a large padded backrest are included. The commode comes complete with a 12 qt. commode bucket and cover and removes from behind and can be easily cleaned.
