Description
The WoundGard Bordered Gauze Dressing is a protection and preventive aid for healing of scars or wounds and is available in a wide range of options. The WoundGard is a bordered gauze. The border helps prevent water from coming into the wound, preventing bacteria and dirt from coming into contact with the opened area. For additional bacterial protection, Vitality also offers the Mepilex AG Bacteria Killing Foam Dressing. The gauze dressing absorbs drainage and keeps a moist environment - limiting the need to constantly be replacing the gauze. Absorption is heavy and can keep you going until you are able to get a new gauze and replace it when needed.
The gauze pad is non-adherent, meaning they will not stick to dried secretions. This is great feature for as pain-less as possible removal of the gauze; creating an easy to remove bandage.
