Description
OpSite Post-Op Visible 11-3/4 x 4 inch dressing are absorbent dressing that allow monitoring of the wound site for infection or fluid build up without having to remove the dressing. The Post-Op Visible Dressing allows monitoring the healing process without distrubing the dressing. An absorbent, transparent pad built into the OpSite Post-Op Visible dressing offers low to moderate absorbency. This dressing allows the skin to breathe and prevent moisture build-up. This see-through dressing is used for post-operative wounds, lacerations, cuts, abrasions, or minor burns.
Post-Op Visible combines a transparent film dressing with an absorbent dressing pad. Designed with a low allergy adhesive, OpSite Post-Op Visible dressings reduce the risk of irritation while keeping the dressing fixed in place. Wounds located around difficult contours of the body may still served by the Post-Op dressing which is flexible, conformable and stays in place. Manufactured by Smith & Nephew, Post-Op Visible is easy to apply and use for wound management. Post-Op Visible dressings are impermeable to external water and body fluids. Wound care patients using the Post-Op dressing may bathe without changing the dressing.
Smith & Nephew also manufactures other OpSite Dressings, including Opsite Flexifix, Opsite Flexifix Visible, Incise Drape, IV3000 and the standard Opsite Post-Op dressing.
