Instructions for Using the CPAP Sanitizer

The Sleep8 Cleaner and Sanitizing Device is incredibly easy to use and starts working with just a three-step process. First, simply connect the tubing to the round valve inside of the bag. Make sure all the tubing, as well as the mask is inside. If you are also cleaning the water chamber, make sure it is completely dry before putting it in the bag as well. Make sure the bag is securely closed using the zipper. Secondly, attach the Sleep8 cleaner and sanitizing device using the triangular port to the triangular connection on the outside of the bag. Ensure the connection is secure in order for the device to work.

All that is left to do is to press and hold the power button located below the screen. The screen should light up and you will hear a beep to signify that the Sleep8 CPAP sanitizing companion has commenced cleaning. A countdown is visible on the screen letting you know how much time is remaining. The cleaning process takes approximately one hour. During this time, the fan will periodically turn on and off. This is completely normal and expected. If the battery gets low during the cleaning process, the Sleep8 can be plugged in and charge while continuing the cleaning process. Once the process is complete, the device will turn itself off. For best results, leave the bag closed for an additional hour. Whether you open it upon completion or wait a little longer, your equipment will be completely sanitized and ready for use.

 

Set Up Instructions

Make sure the device is fully charged before use. Each charge provides on average 2 or 3 cleanings. The Sleep8 doesn't require any additional warmup time or treating with chemicals. Simply attach and run.

 

Screen Symbols and Functions

 

The screen displays important information to ensure the best experience during each and every clean. The top icon displays the level of battery remaining. To the left is a fan, which will flash on and off during the cleaning process. On the right is a timer that counts down the time remaining in the cleaning process. Once complete, the Sleep8 will beep 5 times and the timer will read "OK." The bottom of the screen will display 03 during sanitization. If the connection is not secure, a red "X" will appear above the "3" and the device will not run. Double-check the connection and try to run again.

If the timer section is flashing "E1" this means that the battery is low and should be charged as soon as possible. If the device is already running, the system will continue to run while also being charged. If an "E2" flashes in the timer section, there is an issue with the fan.
