When people are inactive for long periods of time after leg, knee or hip surgery, it increases the chance of blood clots forming. Medical grade compression prevents deep vein thrombosis, a condition when a blood clot forms in one or more of the deep veins in the legs. This is a very serious condition making compression wear very important when confined to a bed.

The Shape To Fit Anti-Embolism Open-Toe Thigh Highs provides gentle massaging action with 18 mmHg compression to improve blood circulation, valve function and relieve mild swelling in the legs, ankles and feet. The thigh-highs are made with soft nylon and Spandex adding lightweight comfort. The open-toe design allows for easier donning and can be worn with open-toe shoes or sandals.
