Description
Proximel Basic Overview
The Proximel Basic is a special three-layered foam dressing that controls moisture more than a basic cotton dressing. The Basic Foam Dressing by Hartmann USA allows for increased moisture control, allowing for wounds to stay moist but not too moist. A good happy-medium to allow for the best healing environment for a wound. Proximel Basic Dressing's stick for up to 7 days with its advanced adhesion, although user experience is advised. Other great bandages that customers have bought include KERLIX Gauze Bandage Rolls, and Medline Sterile Abdominal Pads, Extra Absorbent ABD Dressings.
Usage
The Proximel Basic's should be used with wounds that are producing moderate to high levels of exudate. Wounds stemming from ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and abrasions are all good fits for Proximel Basic's bandage.
