What is Panasonic KXTGA710B Phone Call Blocker with Bilingual Talking Caller ID? This small electronic box helps protect users from scamming or unwanted phone calls. Connected to a landline phone, the Machine with Call Blocking (Panasonic KXTGA710B) uses a pre-programmed robocall database of 14,000 numbers to reduce the volume of unnecessary calls. These pre-programmed numbers can't be displayed on the blocker. Users can manually add up to 2,000 numbers to the call blocker, which can easily be done at the press of the red button when the unwanted call comes in.

Additionally, a Talking Caller ID that can be either in English or Spanish verbalizes the incoming call, so one doesn't need to look at the handset to see who the call is coming from.

A product that complements the phone blocker is the Vocally 3 Voice-activated Phone Dialer.

How to Set Up

Connect the AC Adapter to the back of the Block Button with Bilingual Caller ID and an outlet. Then connect a telephone line cord to a single-line telephone jack and the "line in" port. Finally connect the provided telephone line cord to a landline phone, like the V-Tech Cordless Handset Phone, and the "phone" port. A second telephone line cord and external phone aren't provided.

How to Block Phone Calls Using the Call Blocker

After setting up the phone blocker, wait for an unknown call to come in. Once the call blocker's light flashes red, push the red button with "Block Call" on it. The number will be added to the Block List.

To go through the Block List or the Caller List, push the Menu button and scroll up or down using the block or Caller buttons. Select an option by pushing the Menu/OK button. After going through either list, a number can be deleted by selecting the number and pushing the Erase/Exit button.

To use the Bilingual Talking Caller ID, subscribe to a Caller ID service.
