Functional ACL Knee Brace by DeRoyal is perfect for patients who need to stabilize the ACL, MCL, PCL, or LCL or who need support and protection after surgery. The brace comes with an adjustable thigh cuff that can accommodate changing thigh circumference due to atrophy, weight loss, or weight gain. The thigh cuff provides optimal suspension and moves with the muscles in your legs, which adds comfort and protection for the wearer. The frame of the brace is made from a sturdy yet flexible aerospace-grade aluminum. Interchangeable condyle pads are included to provide even more stability and comfort. This brace is available in both a low-contact design and a contact design. The low-contact design is the standard frame and is recommended for low-contact sports only. The contact design has a full-frame and can be worn while playing contact sports.
The calf strap is lined with silicone to prevent the brace from slipping, and a posterior calf cuff is included to reduce tibial pressure. The brace has optional, five-degree extension stops that can be set to prevent overextension of the leg. This knee brace is designed for mild to moderate ACL, PCL, MCL, and LCL sprains and for combined ligament instabilities.
