Detecto 6500 Portable Wheelchair Scale, manufactured by Detecto, is a portable digital scale specifically designed for wheelchairs and bariatric patients. Featuring integral wheels and handles, this wheelchair scale can easily be moved from location to location. This scale delivers true portability and ease of use. Including an integral two-way ramp, it is exceedingly easy for a patient in a wheelchair to access the scale's platform.
Each scale comes with a remote digital indicator that optimizes the scale's performance. The digital indicator will display an individual's height, weight, and body mass index on an easy-to-read liquid-crystal display. By simply pushing a button you can switch back and forth between English and metric units. The indicator also has a memory of up to 99 tares to store wheelchair weights. In addition, the indicator has serial, USB, and Ethernet connectivity for electronic medical/health record use. The portable wheelchair scale functions off of batteries or an optional AC adapter (none of these are included).
