Traction Modes

Intermittent Traction. This mode alternates between maximum and minimum tension every few seconds. If used during the progressive or regressive phases, the unit pulls to the set intensity and holds it for a set time. Once the set time is over, the traction reduces by 50% then holds it again. It repeats this cycle until the minimum level is reached where it will remain for the remainder of the treatment time.

Static Traction. This mode is a steady amount of traction that can be applied for a couple of minutes or the entire 99 minutes. The short treatments are typically used with more tension, while the longer treatments apply less tension.

Cyclic Traction. With the cyclic mode, progressive and regressive phases get repeated continuously. These two phases result in traction being decreased and increased during the duration of the treatment.
