The Gentell Calcium Alginate Dressing is a highly absorbent bandage with the ability to absorb up to 20 times of exudate compared to its own weight. The Calcium Alginate Dressing is sterile and can be folded and manipulated to fit different sized wounds. The way the calcium in the dressing reacts with the sodium in the wound creates a gel-like substance that makes a moist environment, and helps the healing process. Indications
Gentell Calcium Alginate Dressings are meant to use on leg ulcers, surgical wounds, leg ulcers, and diabetic ulcers. The bandage may be used for minor conditions such as burns, lacerations, abrasions, and skin tears.
