The bathroom assist chair will support up to 350 pounds. Another upgrade to the 202 is its sleek black upholstery color with a variety of seat choices. The model 202 can be adapted for use in many roles to support mobility patients. This bath assist chair may serve as an adjustable height toilet seat or commode chair by adding the cut-out seat and pan/hanger. The legs are adjustable to accommodate patients with varying height requirements. It may serve as a toilet seat safety frame over some existing commodes. It is adaptable as a shower bench or bathtub bench for bathing. With so many add-ons, it can be configured to a transfer bench to provide safer transitions into the tub or on to a commode.
This bathroom stool comes with densely padded Ensolite or Comfortuff seats with either an open seat cut-out for commode use and/or perineal cleaning or a solid Ensolite seat option. Whatever seat cushion you select, this bathroom assist chair utilizes an open frame construction that provides unimpeded directional seat placement so it can be positioned to the front, back or either side. The padded seat is designed with a "waterfall" style that's seamless for low mobility patients that are experiencing skin pressure problems. It's more forgiving to fragile skin and tissue in comparison to a hard seat design.
The configurations allow for optional accessories to add support, including a padded back, single or pair of padded armrests, waist belt, and trunk belt. The two tip options for the legs include a rubber cane tip or a suction tip when needing the chair to remain in a fixed position for added safety.
