- Love it
Itis just what I was looking for. It gives me just the amount of o2 that I need none more. That way it gives me 5hr. instead of 1 1/2. THANKS
- Good but loud
This device seems to be more accurate than the purely mechanical pneumatic ones in sensing the in breath and probably in the amount of O2 in each pulse. My only objection is the loud puff sound it makes in each pulse. I give it only 4 stars because of the loudness and because of the bulk of the device.
When I lost Apria as my O2 supplier back in 2009 they took this regulator back. My new supplier only has the dual lumen type of conserving device and I don't like them especially the cannulas needed for them. I finally saved enough to buy a PD1000 of my own. I've already used it and I had a much better time.
- poor support
Unit work well for several months, then it had trouble sensing "inhales". Checked with Vitality Medical and they said contact the manufacture, who said I have to go through Vitality Medical (lost time), finally got info on where to send defective unit, but no prepaid shipping label. Send in unit and checked with manufacturer a few days later to hear they had received it, but hadn't looked at it yet! Note, there is also no loaner or other help from either Vitality or the manufacturer. Haven't gotten repaired/new unit back yet, so more to follow?
