Closed-cell foam creates s sure seal since the cells are pressed tightly together to keep out air and water. Wearing this ear wrap respiratory accessories is important for patients who are at risk for skin breakdown. Since the ears do not have padding between the skin, the foam protectors will keep skin healthy when receiving oxygen therapy.

Save $$$ on ear cushions
To keep cushions in place and be able to reuse them, put a strip of double-sided tape inside cushions before attaching to cannula. I was putting a drop of glue inside cushion, but, then, you must throw away cushion with each cannula. I only use them as needed to save buying so many.

Think they work fairly well
I use surgi-strips to keep them in place on the ends and in the middle. I am a caregiver for an 86 year old gentleman who is on hospice care. They were furnishing these tubes originally and just discontinued them when the company was sold. Darn my luck.

Ear savers. Couldn't sleep with out them.
Looking for ways to keep them from coming off. I use a set on each side so I don't wake up with track marks on my cheeks. Helpful to read other reviews. EZ-wrap makes it possible for me to sleep with a cannula on.

They won't stay on the tubing
They would be fine if they would stay attached to the tubing.

Wraps won't stay on the cannula tubing without some adhesive being applied to the slit surfaces.
They are better than nothing but have to be retroffitted for them to stay on the tubing or they fall off if you move your head. The manufacturer should put a double stick tape strip with a pull off tab so they stick together after being attached to the cannula tubing. I have found they will stay in place by attaching each piece to the tubing and then spreading some glue from a glue stick on both pieces (flat toothpick works good) and squeeze them together for a minute or so and then wipe the excess off. This will put some glue on both surfaces and the tubing to keep the wrap from twisting. Make sure the slit is on top. Wait an hour or so before using them. Before you attach the wrap to the tubing, mark the tubing at the front of the ear so you will know where to place the wrap. I change my cannula monthly and the wraps still look good but I'm not sure how sanitary they might be. I have tried the thread solution but with arthritis in my fingers, I can't tie them tight enough to keep them from moving.

Best product I've found for ear protection.
The only problem I've had is trying to keep the wraps on the cannula. I've ended up wrapping them with thread after I put them in place. and this seems to really place. They may not be perfect, but they certainly help and I'm glad I found this product.

Comfortable but they don't stay in place
The idea is OK, but they just do not stay in place. More trouble than they are worth.

great for finger ring sizers
I have arthritis and I used these as ring sizers they are comfortable and allows my rings to fit over my knuckles then softly protects my skin where the rings sit.
