Zetuvit Plus is a non-bordered, non-adhesive superabsorbent dressing for managing moderate to heavy wound exudate. The soft wound contact layer helps draw exudate into the pad for fast exudate absorption, while the superabsorbent core retains a high amount of fluid without seeping through. The quality padding also makes this Zetuvit dressing more comfortable for longer-term wear and works well with a compression wrap .
The Zetuvit Plus Dressing has a water-repellent outer layer that protects clothing and bedding from leaking exudate. The non-adhesive dressing design prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and can be secured with a secondary dressing, like medical tape. This way, healing tissue is not damaged when the dressing is removed.
How To Apply:
- Select product to match the wound size so the dressing extends at least 0.4 to 0.8 inches (1-2cm) beyond the wound margins.
- The wound dressing may NOT be cut to size.
- Place the white side on the wound so that the green special nonwoven layer faces away from the wound.
- Secure the dressing e.g. with adhesive tape, conforming bandages or, if necessary, compression bandages.
- Change the dressing if clinically indicated or when exudate reaches the edges of the dressing or when noticable through the green nonwoven top layer.
