Zero-G Heel Suspension Boot

NYOrtho Zero-G Boot is designed to eliminate pressure and friction to the skin. It is made from antimicrobial fabric with a sanitized hygiene function that acts like built-in deodorant. It is designed to prevent the growth of bacteria, even during heavy perspiration. The Zero-G helps reduce the risk of developing ulceration and necrosis due to long periods of uninterrupted pressure on bony areas of the heel and ankle.

The cushioned design of this pressure reducing boot floats the heel over an air pocket and provides air circulation, which aids in healing of existing ulcers. The ultra soft cloth helps protect fragile skin from wounds caused by trauma and reduces unwanted friction and shear. It features a removable gel-pack that helps lower heat, which reduces the risk of the development of bacteria. The sides of the boot are cushioned with foam to protect the ankle and provide comfort. It features two straps that allow the user to position and secure the boot in the desired position. The Zero-G Boot includes a padded hook and loop closure that allows for easy application and removal. This boot is available in three sizes; small (petite adult/pediatric - 3 inch), medium (average adult - 4 inch), and large (large adult/bariatric - 5 inch).
