The Zero-G helps reduce the risk of developing ulcers and necrosis due to long periods of uninterrupted pressure on bony areas of the heel and ankle.
The cushioned design of this pressure-reducing boot floats the heel over an air pocket and provides air circulation, aiding in the healing of existing ulcers. The ultra-soft cloth protects fragile skin from wounds caused by trauma and reduces unwanted friction and shear. It features a removable gel-pack that helps lower heat, reducing the risk of bacteria development. The sides of the boot are cushioned with foam to protect the ankle and provide comfort. It has two straps that allow the user to position and secure the boot in the desired position. The Zero-G Boot includes a padded hook and loop closure for easy application and removal. This boot is available in three sizes: small (petite adult/pediatric - 3 inch), medium (average adult - 4 inch), and large (large adult/bariatric - 5 inch).
