Many people who use nasal masks understand the small differences a mask offers that can make an impact in the daily use of the mask. By designing a mask that is traditional as well as an elongated version, you are able to fit the mask better under the chin for optimal medication supply.
The Teleflex Medical Elongated Medium-Concentration Mask has a nose clip, which allows the fit to be adjusted for more comfortable use of the oxygen mask. This little strip of metal located on the nose of the mask does more for you than you may think. In order to keep a mask stabilized and set in a secured and comfortable position, the nose clip and the strap give you the opportunity of resting as you intake therapy through the mask, which stays in place.
The Medium-Concentration oral/nasal mask with optional 7-foot Star Lumen Tubing is offered in four mask options: adult regular size for and pediatric regular size as well as elongated adult and child nasal mask options. The elongated option is available for patients both adult and children that find regular masks don't fit quite right. Gaps in the mask fit lead to a loss of oxygen being supplied -- which is never a good thing -- and it's important to find a way to provide full coverage. These nasal mask options are elongated to go under the chin (where most oxygen is lost) to cover gaps and reduce the loss of oxygen supply.
An optional 7-foot Star Lumen oxygen tubing can also be supplied depending on which option is selected. All masks are individually packaged to reduce contamination.
