ConvaTec 14 Inch SUR-FIT Natura Drainable Pouch is a transparent, drainable ostomy pouch for SUR-FIT Natura two-piece systems. It is designed to collect stoma output for colostomy and ileostomy patients in home, hospital, and travel settings.
The pouch attaches to a compatible barrier, such as the Natura Stomahesive Skin Barrier, with a series of audible clicks that indicate the coupling ring is locked in place. This allows the barrier to remain on the skin while the pouch is snapped off and on for emptying or changing. When the barrier is ready to be removed, an adhesive remover can help lift the adhesive from the skin.
The pouch features a low-profile, streamlined body with a one-sided comfort panel that helps the pouch lie flat under clothing and reduces noise against garments. The tail opening at the bottom of the pouch works with the included clamp closures to support controlled draining of output and is intended for repeated emptying throughout the day. Two tail closures are provided in each box to support routine use and replacement when needed.
