Stye Eye Ointment is an OTC sterile lubricant eye ointment that temporarily relieves burning and irritation of the eye, including irritation associated with a stye. The mineral oil and white petrolatum formula helps lubricate the eye and temporarily relieve burning and irritation. Simply apply ¼ inch of ointment inside the lower eyelid while avoiding touching the surface of the eye with the nozzle.
Stye Lubricant Eye Ointment does not treat styes and infections on its own and should only be used as additional symptom relief and prevention of further irritation. Stop use and ask a doctor if there is eye pain, vision changes, continues redness or irritation, worsening symptoms, or symptoms lasting more than 72 hours.

How do I apply ointment to a stye that’s on my upper eyelid?
Follow the package directions on applying the stye ointment into the pocket you create by pulling down your lower eyelid. Then close your eye and, while keeping your eyelid closed, move your eye as if you’re looking in different directions. The ointment will spread across your eye to your upper eyelid.
How do I get the ointment in my eye without touching it?
Squeeze the ointment down inside your lower eyelid and when you have enough (1/4 inch) out, turn the tube and start to pull away. As you turn the tube, the ointment should disconnect and drop into place. It may be easier to do this in front of a mirror.
If my stye is not getting better, when should I call my doctor?
If your stye is getting worse or is not healing after a week or two, call your doctor or other healthcare professional for treatment.
Can I use more than one Stye™ product to help relieve stye symptoms?
