Description
The Dr. Comfort Shape To Fit™ Ulcer Care Support Socks Kit provides convenient and efficient treatment of venous ulcers from abnormal veins, blood clots, obesity or injury. Compression bandaging is key to raising pressure in the leg veins needed for a leg ulcer to properly heal. The Ulcer Care Kit comes with stockings to provide uniform compression that a bandage can't provide. The system comes with two white closed toe stocking liners which offer light 10-15 mmHg compression and nicely secures the wound dressing as well as keeps the overlaid zippered compression stocking in place. Having a zipper not only provides convenient access to the wound for dressing changes, it also makes for easier donning. It features an extra firm 30-40 mmHg compression support to provide blood circulation and add comfort to the leg as it heals. The stocking has an open toe and is made of nylon and Lycra fabric in khaki with a choice of right or left zipper design.
