Overview
The Secure Universal Alarm monitors patients in care facilities to keep them safe. The system will alert caregivers when the patient has risen from their bed or chair. The patient monitor alarm works with sensor pads in bed or on chairs and provides a single alarm tone of 80 decibels. The tamper- and break-resistant alarm has auto-reset and always-on functions as well as an alert light. This alarm comes with a battery-testing function, a low-battery indicator, and two AAA batteries.
Secure Safety Solutions offers many patient alarm systems, including the Secure Magnet Alarm, the Wireless Caregiver Alert System, and many Alarm Accessories and Replacement Parts.
Alarm Options and Use
- Universal Alarm SUA-1 - is paired with a bed or chair sensor pad or a seat belt sensor. It detects when a patient has exited when they are at risk of falling or when a dementia patient wanders. The white alarm is discreet and imperceptible to residents.
- Yellow Universal Alarm SUA-1Y - functions the same as the SUA-1 and is compatible with the same sensor pads. It has a bright yellow exterior to not be discreet to help staff easily identify residents who are fall risks.
- 120 Alarm (SUA-120) - is compatible with the sensors with a louder alarm. It has a choice of 80, 90, and 120 dB settings to ensure staff hears the alarm when rooms are farther away from the nurse's station.
