Kenetic Healthcare RTD Wound Dressing is designed to treat partial to full thickness wounds. It is made with an integrated foam matrix that is ideal for moderate to heavy exudating wounds, such as venous stasis, pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical/post-operative wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, donor sites and graft wounds, lacerations, abrasions, and other trauma inflicted wounds.
The RTD Foam Wound Dressing provides a favorable wound healing environment and draws protein rich exudate away from the wound. It features highly effective antifungal and antimicrobial properties, which reduces bacteria and helps prevent biofilm. Silver, Methylene Blue, and Gentian Violet are the active ingredients in the RTD Dressing. It has an open cell structure that easily wicks exudate vertically. Each interactive ingredient tightly binds to the foam, which regulates wound bed moisture with little to no maceration. It comes ready to apply and is easy-to-use. It can be cut easily, does not require hydration, and is an incredibly versatile wound dressing.
Foam Dressings come in a variety of styles for multi-use, such as Allevyn Adhesive Hydrocellular Dressings and Aquacel Foam Dressings.
