Robitussin Maximum Strength DM Liquid is an OTC cough syrup for chest congestion, thinning and loosening the mucus, and suppressing coughs for adults and children 12 years and over. It is raspberry-flavored and designed for daytime use.
Robitussin DM Max uses the active ingredient dextromethorphan HBr to help temporarily suppress coughing and guaifenesin to help thin and loosen mucus. Use the included dosing cup and follow the label directions. Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours.

Warnings and Use Limits
- Do not use for children under 12 years old.
- Ask a doctor before use if pregnant or breast-feeding.
- Ask a doctor before use if the user has a cough with excessive phlegm or mucus.
- Ask a doctor before use if the user has a chronic cough related to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema.
Warnings
- Do not refrigerate.
- Do not use if taking an MAOI or within 2 weeks of stopping an MAOI, unless directed by a doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children.
