ResMed AirSense 10 Adapter Overview
SoClean 2 ResMed AirSense 10 Adapter couples together with your existing ResMed AirSense reservoir tank and has a small black hose that extends into the water. It serves as a connector between the SoClean 2 and the ResMed CPAP machine. Without it, the AirSense may not function like it should while connected to the SoClean.
The adapter forms an airtight seal with the AirSense to create a closed system. That keeps the Activated Oxygen where it belongs so that it can kill the pathogens inside the CPAP. It enhances safety as it keeps the user away from the ozone gas as it circulates.
It works with the existing gasket, found in the CPAP tank. The adapter covers this gasket, keeping it from discoloring. Activated Oxygen often causes gaskets to become yellow, which -- although it may be unsightly -- does not affect the functioning or life of the gasket.
How Does the ResMed AirSense Connect to the SoClean?
Remove the tank from the machine. Open the lid on the reservoir of the CPAP and pop open the clamp on one side. Push the tank cover the other way to remove it from the other clamp. Lift the gasket from the cover.
Thread the hose of the AirSense 10 Adapter for SoClean 2 through the gasket. Press the gasket firmly into place on the adapter before snapping the adapter into place. Push the reservoir back into the machine. Connect the hose from the cleaning machine with the nipple on the SoClean 2 AirSense 10 Adapter.
