How to Use the Purify O3 Machine
How to Charge This Device
- Plug one end of the USB cable into the wall charging adapter and the other end into the device.
- Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
- A charge indicator light will change from red to green once the device is fully charged.
How to Disinfect a Humidification Chamber With the Purify O3 CPAP Cleaner
- Ensure that the Purify O3 is charged. See the charging directions above for assistance.
- Empty any water out of the humidification chamber.
- Place the chamber into the Purify O3 bag.
- Press and hold the bright orange button on the Purify O3 to turn it on.
- Place the Purify O3 in the bag and close the bag.
- The unit will run an ozone sanitization cycle for 30 minutes with an additional 5 minute ambient air cycle at the end.
- For safety, allow the device to sit in the unopened bag for 90 - 120 minutes. This allows the ozone time to dissipate.
How to Sterilize a CPAP Mask and Tubing
- Read the charging directions listed above. Ensure that the device is charged.
- Disconnect the mask and tubing from the CPAP or BiPAP machine. The mask and tubing can remain connected.
- Place the mask and the majority of the tubing into the included Purify O3 travel and sanitization bag.
- Leave the end of the tubing out of the bag. Zip the bag up part of the way to prevent the tubing from falling out.
- Press and hold the bright orange button for three seconds to turn on the Purify O3.
- Connect the other end of the tubing to the CPAP sanitizing machine.
- Unzip the bag again and place the Purify O3 sanitizer and the rest of the tubing into the bag.
- The device will run an ozone sanitization cycle for 30 minutes with an additional five-minute ambient air cycle at the end.
- Allow the unit to sit for another 90-120 minutes post-sanitization cycle before opening the bag to use the machine. This allows time for the ozone to dissipate.
