These tubes have all the shared features as its cuffed relative, the Portex Blue Line Ultra Fenestrated Cuffed Trach Tubes.

The Blue Line Ultra Fenestrated Cuffless tube will allow the medical caregiver a few advantages, one being an easier tube insertion with its tapered arc that will keep the distal tip midline, and second, the hollow obturator with retaining clips and rounded tip that will help insertion while reducing the incidence of trauma to the tracheal wall.

The Blue Line Ultra Fenestrated Cuffless trach tubes are made of thermosensitive material that allows them to conform to the individual's airway simply reacting to the patient's body temperature. The trach tubes are rigid when taken out of the sterile packaging, which will help insertion into the trachea before conforming to the airway.

The Blue Line Ultra Fenestrated Cuffless tubes come with the main trach tube, two inner cannulas, a cleaning brush and tube holder. The fenestration in the tube will allow the patient to practice breathing unassisted and is typically used for patients who are being weaned from a ventilator.
