PediaSure 1.0 Complete Enteral Formula

PediaSure 1.0 Cal in vanilla flavor is specifically formulated for tube feeding for children 1 to 13 years old. It's not intended for infant formula. Manufactured by Abbott Nutrition it provides complete, balanced sole source of nutrition or to supplement a child's diet. Make sure to follow physician's instructions for flow rate, volume, dilution and need for additional fluids when administering enteral formula.

PediaSure®: 1.0 offers 1.0 Calories per mL, 240 Cal per 8 fl oz can, from a balanced distribution of protein, fat, and carbohydrates. It meets or exceeds 100 percent of the DRIs for protein and 25 essential vitamins and minerals for children 1 to 8 years of age in 1000 mL, and for children 9 to 13 years of age in 1500 mL. PediaSure offers a good source of antioxidants, vitamins C and E and selenium to support the immune system. Since this is an enteral tube feeding formula it can also be used for oral consumption and is in great-tasting vanilla. For higher caloric and fiber needs try Pediasure 1.5 with Fiber.

In addition, this formula is compatible with many intolerance's and religious food laws. This item is Kosher, Halal, gluten-free, and is suitable for children who are lactose intolerant.
