Rugby Nicotine Gum is an over-the-counter stop-smoking aid that helps reduce withdrawal symptoms, including nicotine craving. The gum uses a chew-and-park technique, in which the gum is chewed until tingling begins and then parked between the cheek and gum.

Rugby gum comes in 2 mg and 4 mg strengths. Use the 4 mg strength if the first cigarette is smoked within 30 minutes of waking. Use the 2 mg strength if the first cigarette is smoked more than 30 minutes after waking.

The labeled 12-week schedule starts on the user’s quit day, with more frequent use during weeks 1 through 6 and reduced dosing frequency during weeks 7 through 12. Avoid food and beverages for 15 minutes before and during use.

Do not exceed 24 pieces per day or combine with smoking and other nicotine products contrary to labeling.
