The New Image Flat FormaFlex Skin Barrier is a two-piece urostomy pouch with specialized features that sets it apart from other pouch system designs. The skin barrier is made with a started hole and is made with a specialized formula to easily stretch and shape around the stoma without the use of scissors. This construction is particularly helpful when the stoma is asymmetrical or is still changing sizes.
FormaFlex has a tape border to aid in easy application. It's also latex-free to avoid any possible skin irritation. Another great feature is the integrated flange floats creating space for your fingers for easier placement of the pouch. This means that the attachment won't put uncomfortable pressure on the abdomen while attaching the pouch. This also makes it easier and more comfortable when stoma is tender or when elderly patients and patients with limited dexterity attach a pouch.
The FormaFlex Skin Barrier comes in a box of five barriers with tape.
