Indications

Use as a noninvasive nasal interface for patients who require:

• Supplemental oxygen delivery (low or high flow, humidified per protocol)
• Noninvasive CPAP or pressure support when ordered

Contraindications

• Nasal atresia or complete nasal obstruction
• Significant midface or nasal trauma, or recent nasal surgery, unless specifically ordered
• Known sensitivity to listed component materials

Warnings

• Use only under the direction of qualified medical personnel and per institutional protocols.
• The cannula is for single-patient use and non-sterile; do not clean, sterilize, or reuse.
• Do not secure the cannula to the patient with the O-ring; the O-ring is not a patient retainer.
• Monitor skin and mucosa for redness, blanching, or breakdown; adjust fit and size as needed.
• Use appropriate humidification for high-flow therapy to help reduce nasal dryness and irritation.
• Verify circuit connections and alarms; ensure prescribed flow and pressure settings match patient size.
