The MPM Medical Bordered Foam Dressing is provided in sterile packaging to aid in reducing bacteria growth and infections. The sterile nature makes this dressing a great option for post-surgical healing. (The wound dressing should not be considered sterile, however, if the packaging is opened.

The MPM Medical Sterile Wound Dressing has a waterproof layer to let water pass off and not cause the dressing to fall off. The dressing is offered with a border and without a border to contain wound leakage. The high absorbency of the foam dressing pad keeps moisture in the dressing -- which is the best way for wounds to heal. The hydrophilic foam helps repel water, which offers many benefits on its own within the padding.
